Giggling
Few
years back I got merriment news of arrival of a new comer in our family and we
become grandparents. So that was a great exurberance moment for all of us and the baby girl
wholeheartedly welcomed in the family and accordingly we set out for Patna to
have a glimpse of the little miss. She was so cute, beautiful and soft like
wool and everybody at home enjoying her presence and her quickly changing
expressions drawing the attention of everybody like cynosure. Then I decided to
capture her activities and expressions which were changing very frequently. So
one fine morning I trained my camera with 100 mm Macro lens kept the shutter
and FPS on high servo and began shooting in the filtered sun light coming from
frosted glasses of the windows. I suggested someone to put a flower headgear on
her head, as soon as the headgear was put on her head, she giggled and I
luckily got few telling shots, on the day she was just hit a month.
In
deep villages in Bihar when an infant giggles like this, people say he/she is
talking with God and they also started making funny expressions before the
infant. It is very joyous moment for everybody.
Generally a baby giggles after four
months of his/her birth. Because during these periods the baby starts
recognizing the facial expressions, touching sensations of his dear ones of his mother,
father and the dear ones. During these period babies started learning about the
atmosphere of the surroundings. Babies do feel the love, affection and started
learning emotional attachments. Babies rarely giggle in continuty, if they feel
comfort and softly touch of his mother baby giggles sometimes.
When
a baby 6 to 12 weeks old he starts smiling, their power of recognizing anybody
through their reflexes which is in nascent stage now, starts expressing their
feeling of excitement and containment.
