Rain drops and hot tin plate

Rain  drops  and hot tin plate

            Since a
fortnight the Northern India reeling under sultry heat above 43 degree Celsius
and in some areas people died like flies sent the administration in tizzy. The
continuation of intense heat has made the atmosphere inhospitable and put the
denizens inside their houses. In some of the North Indian state such as Delhi, Haryana,
Bihar, UP crossed the temperatures above 50 degree Celsius and threatening the
health care system as patients of heat stroke pouring into the hospitals but
beds are full causing immense trouble to the patients. The earth is emanating
heat like hot tin, aggravating the situation and creating more problems for the
pedestrians. It is also more distressing as dams, rivers; wells are dried up causing severe water crisis in the cities and far off places. The government is
just indulging in fire fighting exercise and doing to give relief to the
denizens as much as they can.

            Yesterday
there was light shower which proved like water drops falling on a hot tin plate
and evaporate within a fraction of second, and not cutting much ice from the
intense heat rather it aggravated the situation and made the atmosphere sultrier.
This year rain is also predicted in the 2nd ½ of the month as it has
already hit states in southern India and inching forward towards north and will
hit by the 15th of this month. So people eagerly waiting to welcome
the first shower its splash, smell of sodden earth and rhythmic pleasant sound.
The rain also refreshes the environment gives calm and pleasant effect in the
minds of the people and at the same time gives much relief from the intense
heat and also enhances the greeneries in the atmosphere.
