Today, I’m taking you on a visual
journey through the heart of Patna, showcasing the newly built Chirayatand
Bridge #PatnaBridge. This structure is a game-changer, easing traffic
congestion and making life smoother for the city’s residents.
On a recent visit to Patna, I
witnessed the daily office rush firsthand. People and vehicles jostled for
space, creating a chaotic scene. It moved me to capture this energy through my
lens, but with a special twist – I wanted to add value and transform this
snapshot into something truly captivating. #StorytellingThroughLens
The answer came in a flash of
inspiration: to capture the bridge in its entirety while adding a touch of
visual magic. With a borrowed tripod, I secured my camera on a nearby building,
ensuring the entire bridge fit perfectly within the frame.

Next, I waited for the “golden
hour” – that sweet spot where the horizon is neither too dark nor too
bright. This timing was crucial. Then came the cherry on top: the headlamps of
passing vehicles. I envisioned streaks of light, painting a dynamic scene
across the bridge.
When the moment arrived, I eagerly
clicked my camera. Watching the image appear on my screen, a wave of joy washed
over me. It was exactly as I’d pictured! #DreamShot

This shot was all about mastering
shutter speed. To achieve those long light trails, I:
- Stabilized my camera:
No camera shake allowed! - Slowed down the shutter speed: Aim for 15-20 seconds.
- Minimized ISO:
100 is ideal for this effect. - Closed the aperture:
f/22 or f/32 helps achieve slower shutter speeds. - Shot in manual mode:
This ensures complete control over exposure.
