Black Berry (Jamun)
This
Black berry fruit (Jamun) dragging me into down memories lane when I was a
child or school going lad. The place where I was residing with my parents had
lot of Black Berries popularly called Jamun trees and me with my siblings and
friends use to pluck the fruit with the help of long bamboos and relished the
sweetness and succulentness of that fruit. After having some fruits we the
children use to show our tongues that whose tongue had got more deep violet
color of the fruits. Those days were so funny that the memories are still
etched deep into my mind. But one great disadvantage of that tree was about its
fragility, on a little load that branches gave up and the person who climbed at
the tree came crashing down and it happened so many times with some casualties.
So our guardians strictly warned all of us not to climb on those trees.
