After the Rain

 After the rain

            The denizens
almost became roasted in intense heat of above 40 degree Celsius in Northern
India, so after long spell of unbearable heat waves today shower gave much
relief which proved as sprinkling of water on a hot plate. And people are
feeling such a great relief now as the temperature dipped from above 40 degrees
to 26 degree Celsius and shivering now. In Ranchi’s low lying areas is
waterlogged causing much inconvenience to people while wading in waist deep
water somewhere. From intense heat to incessant rain caused cave in some
bridges in Bihar and Jharkhand and putting an extra brunt on the people of
those areas.  Why this incident is
happening known to everyone. In the national capital of the country New Delhi
completely submerged in the deluge of 1st shower and a person is
killed and some injured as a roof of the airport caved in, same happened in
Jaipur airport and other places also. Yesterday it there was news in TV of swept
away cars in Haridwar areas in severe deluge.

            I still
remember of making paper boats during rain with my siblings and friends in
childhood and use to catch fishes in the rain waters. So in this way some
captions on rain is coming into my mind such as—1st Let the rain
washes away yesterday’s trouble. 2nd Rainy days are cozy blankets
and good books and the 3rd one the sound of rain is nature’s
lullaby.

As I explained about the effects of
after the rain, which is in real but there is a Japanese film ‘After the rain’
which story goes like this, as a teenager girl for eking out livelihood she is
working in a restaurant where she fell in love with the manager of the
restaurant who is 45 years old and has a kid of five years.

At the same time a film ‘Before the
rain’ made in the backdrop of Indian rural culture in 2007, during Indian
British period drama directed by Santosh Sivan of a tragic love story between a
British Boss and rural women Sajni (Nandita Das) who couldn’t faced the
rejection and killed herself.

            So,
rather showing all these devastating images of rain and the horrible stories, I
saw and shot few droplets of the rain for soothing eyes of  my friends and readers.
