Butterfly
It
is a daily phenomena that we use to see colorful and bright butterflies hopping
from this to that flower, they don’t stay for long on any flower as they are
very fickle, flighty and restless in nature, it is a kind of moth which is
found everywhere, Female butterflies generally lays their eggs at the lower
side of any leaf, in a few days these eggs converted into small insect called
Larva or Caterpillars which thrive on eating the leaves. After this process
pupa is formed and after sometimes a beautiful butterfly comes out after
breaking the pupa cell. A butterfly has intense smell senses, to see, taste and
also great sense of locating his/her place. When they grow up they use to
return the place from where they started.
Their
life is very short. They don’t consume solid food but they thrive on sucking
the nectar from the flowers. Monarth a butterfly found in the jungle can fly 17
miles an hour is supposed to be the fastest flying butterfly. Gaygant is the
biggest butterfly in world its wings are about of 12 inches in female.
Butterflies
wings are transparent it taste with their feet and enjoys all liquid diet. Its
behaviors are beneficial for the garden as they fly on different flowers so
they carry pollens in their legs and leave them on to other flowers or plants.
This help in reproducing new flowers and fruits and its seeds. These are often recognized
as the essence of nature or represent freedom, beauty or peace. Its antennas work
as the nose of butterflies, it is a sensory organ use to pickup chemicals in
the air, which can be anything like smell of flowers to the scent of a
potential mate, and they also help in detecting of speed of the insect. So on
the whole it is beauty of the nature which attract every person.
