Great Ocean Road

Great Ocean Road

While in Melbourne
where we hired a SUV on driving basis while sojourning there, so, one day it
was decided to drive along Great Ocean Road (GOR) which was celebrating its 100th
anniversary since its inception, in 2019, it is remain world’s greatest road
trip and pleasant to drive along the Victoria’s Great Ocean Road, which is
famous for spectacular scenery, which starts from Victoria surf capital
Torquey, is about 105 Kms from Melbourne and ends after travelling about 245
Kms to Allansford, near Warranambool.

The road hugs wild and beautiful coastline
sometime just meters away. Driving on this road faces heavy traffic sometimes,
so the speed is checked to 45 to 60 Kms/hr and viewpoints are made along with
the road to see the natural wonders of beautiful vast Ocean and often
enchanting views of Whales throwing huge water up in the air can be seen. As we
drove down the road we met rain forest areas, attractive small towns, and
population of Koalas.

At one view point a
tourist bus stopped and many tourists alighted and became screaming to see the
behaviors of Whales. The bus was driving by a young and smart white lady in
Khakhee and short with mountaineering boots on, I also saw that she was guiding
her guests also.

The GOR also crosses through remote sparsely
populated villages. In this way reached 12th Apostal a beautiful
limestone stacks rising majestically from the sea. Its breathtaking view
mesmerizing the tourists. Private chartered tourist’s buses are available in
Melbourne for this worth spectacular scene visit.

A request– To my friends and viewers
please like and share it.
