Bush Capital
While we were staying in Melbourne since a
week and measured whole length and width of the beautiful and modern city the
day to depart came and we proceeded for our backward journey home. We set out
early in the morning by 6 O’ cloak and as we hit the Melbourne Sydney motorway
(highway) it was almost an hour, as the Sunny was on the driving wheel of the
massive vehicle, he deviated from one point and told me to let us see capital
city of the County’s Canberra, which is about 45 Kms from that point. Where he
shown me Parliament house surprisingly there was very less security check they
only checked my camera and allowed me to go inside and move around. Where I saw
museum of inception of the century old parliament and pictures of whose who and
so many things. After that he drove us to War memorial which is also called
National War memorial dedicated all the Australians who died during war, where
fighter planes, tanks, vehicles of 1st and 2nd world war adored.
This memorial at Campbell just 2 Kms straight of the Parliament. From war
memorial one can see the Parliament house.
Surrounded by forest,
farmland and nature reserve the city which is very meticulously settled is due
to these qualities it has earned the nick named affectionately “Bush Capital” is the capital of Australia
named Canberra with focal point is Lake Burley Griffin is the most favorable
point for Kayaks and boat riders. Strikingly a massive and modern new Parliament
house and a Museum are built at lakeshore, which is greatest attraction of most
of the visitors. Surrounding of Canberra has also the greatest population of
Kangroos which can be seen anywhere in the city. Another quality of Canberra is
one can travel from one end to another in just 20 minutes by a vehicle. Which
is almost impossible in the cities here?
The city
Canberra is formed on 12th March 1913 with the area of 814.2 Kms and
population 3.96 lakhs. Canberra adores many Governmental organizations,
institutions, national monuments and Parliament house, High Court and many headquarters
of governmental agencies. Due to its salubrious environment, lowest crime rate
makes it livable, walk able for the residents and awesome place for
international students. Canberra gives opportunity and encourages and welcomed everybody
to succeed in their life.
To
settle in this city everybody needs to spend about AU$ 33000 per annum at
least. This city instills in the mind of the students not only look after the
communities but also whole society as well as country. To overall.
